The Friends of the Orion Township Library would like to thank all the donors, volunteers, and silent auction bidders that made the 2024 Friends Annual Holiday Basket Auction a success. The Friends annual silent auction took place from November 2nd to November 23rd in the lobby at the library. The 2024 Basket Auction featured 54 baskets on which over 400 bids were placed. Auction items included Detroit Tigers memorabilia, Pedal Boat Pub experience, golf for four, dog wellness package, and so much more. The auction raised over $6,000 which will be gifted to the library to fund future programming such as Battle of the Books, Summer reading, and many other adult and children's workshops.
